Mountains-to-Sea (Day Four, The Last Supper)

Many thanks to Maddie, Ella, Jonah and Silas for telling this story so well. (Never has Judas felt more real. He is overjoyed in Jesus’ presence and yet, he will betray the friend who brings him joy. Also, the Carolina wine tumblers are an inspired prop choice.)

We are imaging ourselves in Jerusalem today and thus, in a city garden. Our Mountains-to-the-Sea Trail stop is Anderson Point Park in Raleigh but there are places in Chapel Hill that offer spots where you can eat supper and also, places that provide peace and rest, like the Garden of Gethsemane did for Jesus.
