The Lavine family lights the Advent wreath every night and sings a song in place of their usual blessing. The tradition started when parents Katherine and Noah were both children (in different churches, in different states!) in Sunday School rooms that used the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd curriculum. They lit candles just like they do today – one for Hope, one for Peace, one for Joy and next week, one for Love. Now they sing with their own children – and with Katherine’s sister Margaret. What traditions are meaningful to you? Which do you want to share?
Thanks you for sharing your home and family with us. Those boys are adorable.
