We’ve been thinking about moving mail. Today, we put stamps on our letters, put those letters in a box, and trust the US Postal service to move the mail. But how did Paul send letters to his Christian friends in Ephesus and Corinth and Rome? Did he use the cursus publicus – the public way made up of stations and letter carriers – that Roman officials used? Or did he have his own messengers who might bring back news from far-off towns?
Ahh the memories. Thanks, Boykin and Zan.
