A lot of birthdays (120 days worth) have been celebrated in this strange time. Zan just celebrated his. There was no big party. He didn’t blow out the candles on his cake.
For all of you who celebrate milestones during this time – birthdays, graduations, learning to ride a bike, learning to write your name – congratulations! There will be other years when you celebrate in different ways but this year will be special, forever, in its own way.
I’d say the Bells–with Jones on vocals and guitar–just put down the definitive version of “Forever Young” on the occasion of Zan’s birthday. Wow. That’s some gift, huh?
